APA Title Page: Running Header

The first thing that you need in a title page is the page header. Before you start, it would help of you have the paragraph symbol on.
The running header, as it should be, should be the title of your paper or essay, flushed to the left of the paper in all caps.

The header should contain a page number that's flushed to the right side at the top of the paper.

The running header is a shorten version of your papers title and cannot exceed more than 50 characters, including spacing and punctuation. The header should run for all pages as it is called a running header. To do this you go to insert on the menu bar. Then click on header, choose blank three columns and delete the middle one.

Typed your running header on the left and insert the page number on the right. To do this, you go to Page Number, third option on the menu bar when on the header, current position, and plain number.
